Customer Service Week is an international celebration of the importance of customer service and of the people who serve and support customers on a daily basis.

In 1992 the U.S. Congress proclaimed Customer Service Week a nationally recognized event, celebrated annually during the first full week in October.

Chambers of commerce and major employers recognize excellence in customer service in a variety of ways. While some entities use the program to boost revenue or as a membership building tool, we simply want to honor and reward those in our communities who go above and beyond in their positions.

Check back often, we will provide ideas for activities you can do for your own in-house recognition program, or demonstrate how we celebrate and recognize those who are nominated for a Courtesy Award.
